Women's Front candidates arrive in Kadavur, Tamil Nadu during 2009 Indian elections. The Kadavur weekly market is attended by people from 100 villages. Also located in Kadavur is the Block Development Office (one of the administrative structures of the district). Christina Samy, general secretary of the Women's Front is speaking from the vehicle in the street before they all got out of the jeep to talk to villagers. The Women's Front candidates for office are Ms. Dania, a lawyer from Karur and Ms. Dhanaseeli of Dindigul. Photo taken by Women's Front.
